About Robert:
Robert is a Houston-based artist who practices representational and impressionistic styles of painting landscapes, figures and still life.
A retired architect, he started painting in high school and has honed strong drawing and composition skills.
A love of the outdoors has provided inspiration for much of his work, and he expresses this through bold brushwork and palette knife.
Robert has studied with Bruce Williamson, Sylvia Trybek and Daniel Edmondson.
In addition to painting in oils, Robert applies his creative and artistic talents to fused glass and woodwork.

About Rosemarie:
I started sewing at fifteen, mostly clothes and home decorating items, and taught tailoring during university. So I certainly know my way around a sewing machine and fabric.
My working life was spent in the energy and high-tech industries, mostly doing technical marketing.
Quilting has been a passion for the past eight years, and I am thoroughly addicted to this creative form - the fabrics, the techniques, the evolving styles, the technical excellence, and the fabulous and generous people I have met.
"Modern" is probably the best term to describe my quilting style preference, and yet I enjoy designing (sometimes with a consult from my husband!) and constructing different types of quilts. I am an active member of the Houston Modern Quilt Guild.
You can see more of my work and inspirations on my Pinterest page.
